Introduction of the new Core Skills Occupation List
The Government has unveiled the new Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL), effective from 7 December 2024, as part of broader reforms to modernise Australia’s skilled migration framework. Replacing outdated occupation lists, the CSOL provides streamlined access to skilled migration across 456 professions critical to the workforce.
“Painting Trades Worker” is eligible for many different visa types, as shown on the right.
